Detailed Description

The cement umbrella protects the weak formation from the hydrostatic pressure caused by the weight of the cement column. Operating above weak formations on casing, tubing and liner strings, it can be used for single-stage or multi-stage cement operations. Each basket is made of high-strength metal and has overlapping fins to provide maximum flexibility and fluid passability while maintaining optimal support. Cement baskets are available in either latching or sliding configurations and shall be mounted above the retaining ring to prevent axial movement.
